Nancy Jane Falls
2023-11-21 1971-11-21Never will I forget Jane Falls! She was such a sweet and kind girl and classmate of mine and many others in the class of 1970. We were both on the yearbook staff and I think Jane was the yearbook editor. I'll never forget meeting one Sunday afternoon after church with a group from the yearbook staff to work on a deadline that was due. Jane looked down at my shoes and complimented me about how shiny they were. I'll never forget her kind compliment. My dad taught me at a young age to polish my shoes, and I liked keeping them that way. Thanks Jane! Your Class of 1970 was so sad to lose you at such a young age! We miss your sweet face and smile, but you're forever in our hearts! As we celebrate our 50th year reunion this weekend, we must remember her and others from our class who have passed on. Three more from our class I remember that died young are Horace Brown, David Griffin, and Linda Stewart. We who are still here and able to celebrate, should feel blessed to do so. I know that I do. tribute by Keith McGinnisI have known many people in my lifetime but few like Jane Falls. She was one of those rare people that was kind to everyone. It did not matter who you were, who you ran around with, or where you came from, she shared the same sincere smile with everyone around her. I was not one of Jane's close friends, but you did not have to be to love her. I look forward to seeing her again someday.
